Well I got to tell ya, if there were ever a day to keep out of the water this was it
Next time I hear a Tsunami "IS" coming and "WILL" have an effect
I'm going to head the warning - This day we were all LUCKY and had some Fun
The edge of San Diego Bay was a DANGER ZONE as well as the docks
and the Bali Hai had a major chunk tore out of its New Dock
I had problems getting into and out of the Bay at the Shelter Island Ramp
I can not imagine what would have happened if we had more than the 1'-2' serge we recieved
Bail Hai Dock ripped by the currents - the broken section came back & was sucked under remaining dock "with a boat attached"
An expensive calling card left behind by King Neptune reminding all that his grasp reaches into protected waters too!

I parked my truck as far up
from the waters edge (2' away) and hurried to get my boat
when I pulled up to my trailer I
almost floated off, I went as fast as I could securing to the trailer
and by the time I went passed the
rear tires of my truch the water was to the bottom of my wheel
if I had taken any longer (I took
about 2 1/2 min) My truck would have started to submerge
It's everyones responsibility to
