On this beautiful San Diego "Winters Day" untold numbers of people took to the water
a day with Boats, Yachts and Ships of every shape & size - some working some playing.
Most everyone had a Great time and then went back to the comfort and safety of there homes
For a few thousand men and women this will be the last they see of home for 7 months
WESTPAC Deployments are a part of life for US NAVY personal and there families
It is only for the unselfish commitment of those willing to endure hardship of there own placing such a high value on "our" lives
that we have what we enjoy everyday! We Must Never Forget !!!
I have posted images of 74 USS John C. Stennis in a higher resolution in the hopes it will allow family & friends
to feel like a part of those aboard while away and help those aboard to know they're "Really" appreciated
Thank You to all who left on this day! Be Safe and we'll be waiting when you return!!

I must say that allot of people truly care about those who left on the USS Stennis and know how to show it,
I've been receiving many "Thank You" messages from people who could not come to San Diego for a proper send off
and have a Great interest in looking through the photos and sharing the moments within
I had No Idea this would stir so much interest and I'm Happy to have stumbled onto something I could do to help so many others
If I can make that many people happy with my little boat and camera I just might have to do this again
